Pharmacy Alternatives® is a comprehensive, closed-door long-term care pharmacy. It is one of the few pharmacies in the nation specializing in serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Pharmacy Alternatives provides exceptional service, uses state-of-the art packaging and dispensing technology especially designed for special population, and provide options with types of medical records delivery via a responsive medical records team.
We also provide pharmacist and nurse driven clinical supports for nurses, staff, and consumers. We provide education in the form of seminars, conferences, webinars, email, and individualized educational support. And we provide the services of a certified developmental disabilities nurse as a resource to all facilities we serve.
